INTRODUCTION

Exclusively offered by CHROME TEMPLE, this 991.2 GT3 represents one of the last great analogue-modern Porsche GT cars, combining a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six with a 6-Speed GT Sports Manual at a time when the industry was rapidly moving towards electrification and automation. It is raw, analogue and delivers a visceral, motorsport-derived experience for the road. With the 991.2 occupying a comparatively accessible position in the modern GT3 market, demand for quality examples continues to grow, particularly for cars equipped with the Clubsport Package.

Finished in the iconic GT3 hue of Guards Red, this exceptional example has travelled just 16,087 kilometres from new and presents in collector-grade condition. Its highly desirable specification combines the Clubsport Package, including a roll cage and Sports Bucket Seats, with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes and the all-important 6-Speed GT Sports Manual.

Importantly, the car is supported by a complete Porsche Centre service history comprising eight stamps, a major Porsche service completed in June 2026, a clean over-rev report, brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres and the balance of its Porsche Factory Warranty until 15/02/2027. With low kilometres, impeccable provenance and one of the most sought-after GT3 specifications available, this is a rare opportunity to secure a modern Porsche GT car with genuine long-term collectability. It just ticks every box.

VEHICLE HIGHLIGHTS

This MY18 991.2 911 GT3 combines the technical capability of the revised 991 platform with the mechanical connection of a 6-Speed GT Sports Manual.

At its centre is a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six producing 368 kW at 8,250 rpm and 460 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Capable of reaching 9,000 rpm, the engine sends its power exclusively to the rear wheels and gives the manual GT3 a quoted 0–100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h.

Its factory specification reinforces that driver-led character. The Clubsport Package, rarely seen Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes and Sports Bucket Seats form the performance core, supported by the Sport Chrono Package and Carbon Interior Package.

Guards Red paintwork is paired with Satin Black wheels, LED main headlights in Black and privacy glass. The cabin combines a Black Leather Interior Package with red stitching, white instrument dials, a white Chrono stopwatch and carbon trim, creating a purposeful environment without compromising the clarity of the GT3 cockpit.

The vehicle has travelled 16,087 km. Its recorded servicing has been completed exclusively by official Porsche Centres, with its most recent service completed at 16,035 km in June 2026. Its recent preparation included a major service and the fitment of brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres. A clean over-rev report and the balance of its Porsche Factory Warranty until 15/02/2027 provide further confidence.

MODEL HISTORY

The Porsche 911 GT3 was introduced in 1999 as a road-going connection between the 911 range and Porsche Motorsport. Based on the 996 generation, the original model continued the lineage established by the air-cooled Carrera RS and established the principles that continue to define the GT3: a naturally aspirated flat-six, rear-wheel drive, focused suspension, upgraded braking and an emphasis on circuit capability without abandoning road use.

The first 996 GT3 established the modern template. Its motorsport-derived engine, manual transmission and track-developed chassis distinguished it clearly from the contemporary Carrera range. The later 996.2 developed that formula further before the 997 generation introduced a broader performance envelope, greater aerodynamic sophistication and increased engine output.

Throughout those early generations, the manual gearbox remained fundamental to the model’s character. The driver controlled not only the car’s direction and braking, but the timing and quality of every gear change.

The first 991-generation GT3, introduced in 2013, represented a significant technical departure. Its longer and wider platform was paired with active rear-axle steering, a more sophisticated chassis and a high-revving 3.8-litre engine. However, it was offered exclusively with Porsche’s PDK dual-clutch transmission.

The change brought faster shifts and stronger acceleration, but it also removed the transmission choice that had connected every previous GT3 to its driver.

Porsche addressed that with the revised 991.2 GT3 introduced in 2017. A 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six replaced the earlier 3.8-litre unit, increasing output to 368 kW and 460 Nm while retaining a maximum engine speed of 9,000 rpm.

Most importantly, the 6-Speed GT Sports Manual returned as an alternative to PDK.

The manual version reached 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and carried a quoted top speed of 320 km/h. Yet its importance was not defined solely by those figures. It brought manual control back to a chassis that had become more precise, stable and technically capable than any standard GT3 before it.

That combination gives the 991.2 its particular place in the model’s history. It retained active rear-axle steering and the more developed aerodynamics of the modern 991 platform while restoring the direct, three-pedal interaction associated with the earlier cars.

In fixed-wing form, particularly when specified with the Clubsport Package, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes and Sports Bucket Seats, the 991.2 represents a clear expression of the traditional GT3 formula: naturally aspirated, rear-wheel drive, manually controlled and developed with unmistakable Porsche Motorsport intent.

FINAL SUMMARY

This MY18 Porsche 911 GT3 combines the defining mechanical attributes of the 991.2 generation with a specification clearly focused on driver involvement.

Its 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six produces 368 kW, revs to 9,000 rpm and is paired with the 6-Speed GT Sports Manual that returned to the GT3 range with this model update. The Clubsport Package, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes and Sports Bucket Seats further strengthen its purpose, while Guards Red over Black leather with red stitching gives the car an unmistakable and enduring GT3 identity.

Its condition and preparation are supported by more than its 16,087 km odometer reading. The vehicle carries a consistent Porsche Centre service record, culminating in a major service at Porsche Centre Willoughby in June 2026. Its recent preparation also includes brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres, while a clean over-rev report and the balance of its Porsche Factory Warranty until 15/02/2027 provide additional ownership confidence.

A properly specified manual GT3 with the servicing, recent maintenance and supporting documentation to match.
