Its original 3.6-litre engine was enlarged to 3.8 litres using Mahle pistons and cylinders, then fully rebuilt by air-cooled Porsche specialists Strasse UK. It is paired with a superbly engaging 6-Speed Manual transmission, with its soundtrack supplied by a switchable Cargraphic exhaust system—an optional upgrade offered across the 993 GTR range.

Finished in the iconic Porsche hue of Sport Classic Grey with subtle contrast stripes and fine chrome details, the exterior is defined by the bespoke Kevlar-composite Works GTR body, widened 17-inch Fuchs wheels, LED lighting throughout, Porsche Durant mirrors and a speed-activated elevating rear wing incorporating a high-level LED brake light.

Inside, the black leather cabin features blue details and dials, a combination of hand-woven leather detailing, suede, perforated leather and Nappa leather, together with Works Misano classic sports seats, matching rear seats, perforated headlining, leather door cards with Works handles, early 911 alloy dash trim with leather insert and Porsche stereo.
